Locate the TPS attached on the side of your throttle body, in case your TPS is connected to your reference voltage. Consequently, place the black test lead of your digital multimeter on the ground terminal of the TPS connector, and then turn on your ignition key without starting the car’s engine.

25/8/2017· Hello YfzR_2one. Yes its very easy to test, all you need is 3 things. 1) a test harness, 2) a T25 torx bit and 3)a volt meter. Just unhook the tps sensor cable and rehook up the test harness, then hook up your volt meter and turn the key switch on. Just make sure the number you get looks reasonable.
